Non-healing wounds
A persistent wound can leave you with questions about what to do next. Dr. Cole takes a closer look at the wound, your history, and your current care to discuss an individualized plan.
Your care at Elite Wound Clinic
Start with an
individual evaluation.
Ask about options for complex or chronic wounds. Dr. Montana Cole reviews your wound and relevant medical history, then discusses the options that may fit your circumstances.
Your care plan is based on the evaluation. You’ll have an opportunity to discuss your concerns, understand the next steps, and ask how your progress will be followed.
Explore our treatment optionsLook beyond the wound’s surface
Healing involves several stages, and the time needed varies with the wound and the person. Poor circulation, diabetes, infection and other factors can interfere with progress. A wound that is not improving deserves a healthcare evaluation.
Bring a timeline of the wound and treatments already tried. Ask which factors may be slowing healing, what the care plan is intended to address, and how progress will be measured. No single treatment is appropriate for every chronic wound.
