Lymphedema
Swelling can come with skin and wound concerns that require additional care. We help manage these concerns with a plan tailored to your evaluation and needs.
Your care at Elite Wound Clinic
Start with an
individual evaluation.
Ask about swelling management and wound care. Dr. Montana Cole reviews your wound and relevant medical history, then discusses the options that may fit your circumstances.
Your care plan is based on the evaluation. You’ll have an opportunity to discuss your concerns, understand the next steps, and ask how your progress will be followed.

Lymphedema involves a buildup of fluid when lymphatic drainage is impaired. Ongoing care focuses on controlling swelling and protecting the skin. A plan may include skin care, appropriate compression, movement and care from a trained lymphedema therapist.
Bring information about previous surgery, swelling patterns, skin breakdown and any compression garments you use. Ask which parts of care can be addressed at your visit and whether coordination with another specialist would help.
